Momentum is massive in sport, and Burleigh Waters boxer, Les Sherrington is clearly keen to keep the “ball rolling”.
Less than a month after his last W-B-O Asia Pacific title defence, the 31-year-old has locked in a date and venue for his next match.
Now all he needs is an opponent.
“I’m a boxer and Iwant to fight anyone and everyone I don’t really mind who I fight that’s up to Brendan my manager got four guys umming and arring at the moment and just choosing the right one.”
The right one could be Irish champion and W-B-O world number five, Gary O’Sullivan.
Sherrington will fight in Toowoomba on June 7.
