CULTURAL GRANTS FOR TAMWORTH AND BARRABA

Culture lovers in the Tamworth region are set to benefit thanks to the State Government.
Tamworth Regional Gallery will receive to close to $58,000 to go towards installing large digital screens.It’s hoped they’ll provide educational opportunities and allow the streaming of events from other galleries.

“It really does basically open up this gallery to the rest of the world, it just makes that world a little bit smaller, but it certainly opens the opportunities for the gallery to tap into some mediums and some opportunities that they mightn’t have been able to do before,” said Kevin Anderson.

Barraba Museum will also receive around $52,000 for essential building maintenance.
