Byron Shire residents are being urged to keep an eye out, after a dangerous dog was stolen from the council pound.
The three-year-old male Rhodesian Ridgeback cross Siberian Husky was declared dangerous earlier in the year after five reported incidents, including an attack on a cyclist.
The dog is tan in colour with a white chest and answers to the name Rush.
