PORT STEPHENS COUNCIL TO DECIDE ON LAND SALE

Port Stephens Council will vote tonight on whether to sell a parcel of land which residents describe as a ‘koala corridor’.
The vacant land, located adjacent to the Mambo Wetlands, is said to be an access route for koalas to reach the shoreline.
Mayor Ryan Palmer says the potential proceeds of the sale would be put towards upgrading Tomaree Sporting Complex.
