FIRE DESTROYS HOME IN LISMORE

Emergency services are investigating the cause of a fire which destroyed a family home in Lismore this morning.

Fire fighters were called to McKenzie Street just before 10 o’clock.

When they arrived the house was fully engulfed in flames.

It took crews over ten minutes to contain the blaze, all occupants managed to escape uninjured.

Police say the fire is not being treated as suspicious.
