It was a tough day for the Jets Youth side in Hong Kong, going down in all three of its games at the 7’s tournament.
They lost 3-nil to Scottish giants Glasgow Rangers, 3-1 to Newcastle United after the Magpies scored an own-goal, before a last-minute 2-1 loss to the host club.
Kieran Hayes was the only Jet to find the back of the net.
The tournament’s finals are held tomorrow, but Newcastle won’t be taking part.
