SPECIAL PERMIT FOR B-TRIPLES TO TRANSPORT FODDER ALONG OXLEY HIGHWAY

Heavy transport operators can now apply for special permits to transport fodder along the Oxley Highway between Gunnedah and Tamworth.
The state government and local council’s have approved short term B-Triple access between the towns to ensure feed is transported to drought affected farmers more efficiently.
Each permit is assessed on its merits and safety.
The access period will run for up to six months.
