EAGLES AND BUNNIES HOP TO TOP

The Erina Eagles and Umina are on top of the table after three rounds of the Central Coast rugby league competition.

The Eagles won a high scoring encounter against Woy Woy 38 to 32.

The Bunnies had to overcome a desperate Panthers outfit looking for their first win of the season.

Berkeley Vale drew level at 12-all thanks to Ben Holden, but couldn’t hit the front, with the conversion waved away.

In driving rain Umina scored a late try, and Blake Mattei put the result beyond doubt with a field goal sealing a 19 -12 win.
