There was a tense situation at Lake Macquarie this afternoon as police confronted a man standing on top of a burning car.
Emergency crews were called to bushland at Windale following reports a vehicle was on fire.
Officers used capsicum spray on the man after he allegedly refused to come down.
The 20-year-old was eventually arrested.
