WANTED NSW MAN ARRESTED IN SOUTH AUSTRALIA

A man wanted on a revocation of parole warrant in the Hunter region has been arrested in South Australia, following a large-scale manhunt.
Earlier this year, NSW Police was alerted after a warrant was issued for 48-year-old, David Brooks.
Officers from Newcastle City Police District conducted extensive inquiries and searches, but he couldn’t be located.
Following further inquiries, the man was arrested by South Australia Police at Gawler, north of Adelaide, just after 2pm yesterday.
He was taken to a local police station and charged with the NSW warrant.
He’s expected to appear at Elizabeth Magistrates Court today.
Detectives will travel to South Australia in coming days to seek his extradition to NSW.
