17 players, three coaches and a referee from Club Taree Touch Football will take to the field in Penrith this weekend, as part of the New South Wales Junior Regional Championships.
Trish Pearson will wield the whistle as Club Taree Touch Association’s first female referee to officiate at a junior regional championship.
Under 14s, 16s and 18s boys and girls will go up against six regions from both country and city.
All players are vying for a jersey in state merit teams to be played in Queensland later this year.
