A 14-year-old boy has been charged after he allegedly sexually assaulted a seven-year-old girl in a toilet at a shopping centre on the Mid North Coast.
A member of the public detained the teenager in a car park of the centre at Moonee Beach, near Coffs Harbour, until police arrived.
The boy was arrested and later charged with sexual intercourse with a child under 10 years and two counts of indecent assault of a child under 16.
He’s been refused bail and is due to face children’s court tomorrow.
