It’s been confirmed that seven-time world champion surfer, Layne Beachley will compete in the New South Wales Surfmasters Titles in the Great Lakes next month.
The four-day event kicks off on the 14th of June, and is the only contest she’ll compete in this year.
Beachley credits her first state title, which she won in 1988, as the launching pad to her professional career.
More than 100 surfers from across the state will compete in the Surfmasters, which is a qualifier for the national titles.
