The $2-million upgrade of Moree’s Renal Dialysis Unit got underway today.
The current five-chair unit has been struggling to keep up with demand.
The new facility will house three extra chairs – a relief for patients, who have been forced to travel to Tamworth for treatment.
The project is hoped to be complete by December.
