PARKING TIME LIMIT CHANGES TO DRAW PEOPLE INTO CBD

Newcastle City Council is trying a new tactic to attract people to the CBD.
Time limits at a number of parking spots along Wharf Road have been altered, to make the area more appealing for visitors.
The northern side of Wharf Road has been changed from four hours to two hour parking, while the Queens Wharf and Boat Harbour car parks are now four hour zones.
Parking at Foreshore Park is now an all-day eight hour space.
