The daughters of a couple who served during World War Two were reunited for the Remembrance Day service in Sawtell.
For the three women, today’s ceremony in Lyle Rose Park was a special occasion.
Now living in different parts of the state, they arranged to have plaques for their late parents Jeffrey and Eileen Morcombe placed side-by-side on the memorial wall.
“It’s lovely to see that Mum and Dad lived around this area for so long and finally they’re still here together on this wall,” said Lyle Burns.
