HARBOUR A HIVE OF ACTIVITY

There was a hive of activity along the water’s edge today, with the Newcastle to Port Stephens Yacht Race cruising through the harbour.

The Port is also being bolstered by the Radiance of the Seas docking for repairs all of this week.

“Through adversity, this is a sensational addition to the Newcastle tourism economy…all looking around our foreshore, all going to our restaurants, our cafes, maybe even staying a night on shore to get over that cabin fever.”

Around 800 crew members will be stationed here until repairs are complete.
