FOUR TEMPORARY PODS INSTALLED AT GLEN INNES FOR FIRE-AFFECTED RESIDENTS

New England residents affected by a large-scale bushfire near Wytaliba last year now have access to temporary accommodation pods.
Four were installed at Glen Innes today, catering for families whose homes were destroyed by the Kangawalla blaze.
1,000 pods will be delivered across the state.
The accommodation will be provided for up to two years, allowing residents to stay within their community while they rebuild their homes.
Each pod is equipped with a 2,000 litre water tank.
