PIPES FLUSHED TO CLEAR GUYRA’S WATER WORRIES

The quality of water in Guyra is set to get worse before it gets better.
It’s been a common concern for many residents but now Armidale Regional Council is flushing the towns water pipes to improve the clarity of water.
Mayor Simon Murray warning residents that due to the age of the pipes more dirt is expected to be stirred up during the process.
“We just ask that the public bear with us while we go through this process. The water still meets all the health requirements – it’s just discoloured,” Armidale Regional Council Mayor, Simon Murray.
All water pipes in town will be part of the clean out.
