AERIAL SHARK SPOTTING IN ACTION ALONG NSW COAST

There’ll be extra eyes along the New South Wales coast this Easter and school holidays, with daily aerial shark patrols.
From today, helicopter surveillance will take place from South Ballina to Point Danger, including Newcastle.
Any shark activity is relayed from the choppers to local beach authorities, and the SharkSmart App.
It will continue until April 29, as part of state government measures.
