HARRINGTON BEACH TRACK CLOSED DUE TO EROSION

An informal beach track created by four-wheel drivers in Harrington has been closed, due to coastal erosion.

MidCoast Council says the track poses a safety hazard for vehicles and the public.

Signage at the entrance to the beach now instructs drivers to drive between the tide marks where the sand is firmer.
