STUDENTS DON SPOTTY SOCKS TO TALK MENTAL HEALTH

Colourful socks were spotted at a Tamworth school today, with students at Calrossy Anglican putting their best foot forward for a worthy cause.

The bright socks aiming to start positive conversations about mental health, in support of the One Sock, One Goal initiative, run by youth organisation Batyr.

“Alot of information, a lot of research has come in that students are struggling with the stresses of life, so it is a very proactive thing, it’s student run. And the students are wanting to wear just one sock in support of positive mental health and well being.”

All money raised will go towards Batyr’s educations programs.
