To basketball and it’s been a big weekend for Hunter teams, with Maitland losing to the Comets last night, while the Newcastle men overcame Hornsby, and the women lost to the Spiders by 15.
This afternoon, the men made it two from two and the women bounced back to beat the Bruins. Cassidy McLean got the Hunters off to a great start, on her way to a game high 23 points.
The starting five all made valuable contributions, Alison Ebzery had 10, Jasmin Howe with 11 points, while Hannah Young posted 10 points, 11 rebounds and four assists.
