CLARENCE VALLEY COUNCIL LOOKS TO IMPROVE UNSEALED ROADS NETWORK
Clarence Valley Council will investigate different methods to improve the region’s unsealed roads network.
$100,000 has been allocated to explore environmentally friendly options, that could provide lasting improvements to almost 1000 kilometres of unsealed roads.
“Trying to get a more sustainable product that provides longevity of riding surface on the road but also gravel supplies are decreasing as we move into the future.”
Council currently spends $2.54 million maintaining the roads each year.
“See what the community wants to do with regard to the frequency of surface treatment.”
