A WARNING TO THE LOWER MID NORTH COAST AS A MINOR FLOOD WARNING HAS EMERGED

A minor flood warning has been issued for parts of the Mid North Coast with more than 100 millimetres expected to fall over the next 36 hours.
Heavy and severe rainfall is forecast in the Manning, Gloucester, Wallis Lake and Myall River catchments with a 75 per cent chance of flooding.
The SES is urging residents to prepare their homes by cleaning gutters and checking roofs are in good condition.
Road users are being encouraged to slow down and not to cross flooded roadways.
“We’re really imploring people not to drive through flood waters. If it is flooded, forget it. Two weeks ago we had an incident where we had someone down at Wingham made a poor decision that put their life and the lives of SES volunteers in danger”
