Traffic congestion near Port Macquarie’s industrial area is about to get worse, with the temporary closure of the eastbound lane of Lake Road next week.
This is the third of five planned closures, as part of Port Macquarie-Hastings Council’s project to improve traffic flow in the area.
The road will be closed from 6am on Monday March 26 until 6pm on Thursday the 29th.
A detour will be in place, with motorists travelling east on the Oxley Highway advised to use Fernhill Road.
