Kootingal’s Rural Fire Service has narrowly missed out on claiming first place at the Regional Firefighting Championships in Kelso.
More than 20 brigades from across the state went head to head – with Kootingal one of only three RFS crews taking part.

A solid performance on day two saw the locals climb to second on the ladder…Wyong Fire and Rescue claiming the overall win by just three points.
