Following changes to the Coalition ministry overnight, Cowper’s Luke Hartsuyker has been demoted from his cabinet position.
Mr Hartsuyker had only moved into his role as ‘Assistant Minister for Trade, Tourism and Investment’ three months ago.
He issued a statement today saying while he was disappointed in the result he looks forward to continuing to advocate for the Mid North Coast in Federal parliament.
Mr Hartsuyker previously served as the Assistant Minister to the Deputy Prime Minister.
