SCHOOL PRINCIPALS MEET AT COFFS HARBOUR

100 school principals from Forster to Kingscliff were in Coffs Harbour today to meet with Department of Education leaders.
Department Secretary Mark Scott is touring New South Wales, in at effort to support the state’s 2,000 school officials.
“we know that the key to school quality is quality leadership from principals and we want to be providing the right kind of support from the Department of Education so they can do their work well.”
Mr Scott said the New South Wales public education system is the largest in Australia with 85,000 staff responsible for teaching the state’s 800,000 students.
