An elderly man has lost part of his hand after being injured by a lawnmower in an apparent neighbourhood dispute in Port Macquarie yesterday.
The 81-year-old underwent surgery at Newcastle’s John Hunter Hospital, for injuries to his left hand, forearm and inner thigh.
A 72-year-old man has been questioned by police – no charges have yet been laid.
