REDHEAD READY FOR TAPLIN RELAY FIGHT

The revamped national surf ironman series wraps up in Sydney this weekend.
Redhead is in a position to win the blue-ribbon taplin relay.
It’s a somewhat new-look team – Justin McMorland has been moved to the ski leg, and knows Redhead’s recent success is a strong sign ahead of April’s Australian titles.
“It means everything. The past two years I haven’t actually been in the A-Team, but we’ve come second and we’ve been right there knocking on the door for that gold. Hopefully this year with the right people and the right training we can get that win.” He said.
Redhead is second overall in the current Ocean 6 series – a win over Queensland’s Alexandra Headland would seal the crown.
While Dan Collins and Nicola Owen could both finish in the series’ top 20, in the individual ironman events.
