Lake Cathie’s Peter Hudson and Gary Taylor from Bonny Hills are through to the men’s over 55s final at the New South Wales longboard surfing titles at Rainbow Beach.
They’ll be joined on finals day by Anthony Donohue from Bonny Hills who’ll defend the over 45s title.
Quarter finals and semis were contested today as the week-long contest heads towards its final stages.
Organisers moved the event further along the beach this morning in search of bigger waves amidst the dwindling swell.
All finals are set down for Saturday, with surfers competing for spots on the state team for the Australian Surf Festival in August.
