MOREE RENAL DIALYSIS UNIT READY FOR $2-MILLION UPGRADE

$2-million has been announced to construct a new renal dialysis unit at Moree Hospital.

Member for Northern Tablelands, Adam Marshall, today announcing the funds and immediately putting the project out to tender with the aim of getting it off the ground as soon as possible.

It’s set to significantly boost dialysis capacity in the town and cater for future demand.

Currently, some patients have to travel to Tamworth, enduring a 6-hour round trip, with Moree’s facility only a five-chair unit.
