FIREARM STOLEN DURING QUIRINDI BREAK IN
Oxley police are appealing for information after a break in on Underwood Street at Quirindi, between the 5th and 8th of February.
The say a distinctive firearm was stolen during the invasion.
“It is a Wetherby brand, bolt action, .23-calibre rifle. The rifle was in a leather gun case,” Chief Inspector Phil O’Reilly, Crime Manager Oxley LAC.
Police say the resident was absent from the home when the break in occurred, only reporting it to police this week.
