LANDHOLDERS TO BE CONSULTED ON INLAND RAIL PROJECT

Narrabri farmers affected by the Inland Rail project will have a chance to meet one-on-one with representatives from the Australian Rail Track Corporation.
Over the next three months the organisation’s members will meet with about 300 individual landholders, as planning continues for the Narromine to Narrabri stretch of the project.
So far a two-kilometre wide rail corridor has been identified, which will be refined to around 50-metres wide over the next two years.
The central and north western parts of the state are set to see a $480-million economic boost from the inland rail project.
