State MP, Robert Oakeshott, has put an end to speculation, announcing he will enter the race for the federal seat of Lyne, vacated last week by the former Deputy Prime Minister, Mark Vaile.
In a chain reaction, Mr Oakeshott’s decision will trigger a state by-election for the voters of Port Macquarie.
