Coffs Harbour City Council has passed a motion for a blanket ban of alcohol in all city centre parks and reserves.
Fitzroy Oval, Brelsford Park, Rotary Park and Baden Powell Park are among the areas covered by the new ban, that aims to address anti-social behaviour.
The ban will come into effect once new signage has been installed, with police to conduct additional patrols.
