A man has been airlifted to Sydney in a serious condition after a gas bottle exploded at Lake Macquarie this morning.
It’s believed a gas bottle ignited in his car on Lakeview Parade at Pelican around 7am.
He’s been flown to Sydney’s Royal North Shore Hospital in a serious condition with burns to his face and hands.
