The second stage upgrade of one of Tamworth’s busiest roads has reached another milestone, with the new roundabout beginning to take shape.
The first concrete for the $3.5-million structure was poured this morning at the intersection of Manilla Road and Marius Street.
In total $15-million has been spent on the busy thoroughfare…
Once finished it will result in faster and safer travel through the northern side of the city.
$150,000 is also being spent on designing a upgrade for the Jewry Street intersection.
