A 45-year-old woman has been charged with high range drink driving, after returning a reading more than six times the legal limit on the Far North Coast.
The woman was arrested in a carpark on Jonson Street at Byron Bay just before 2 o’clock this afternoon, after her Toyota Corolla struck a light pole.
She was taken to Byron Bay Police Station, where she returned a breath analysis reading of 0.333.
The woman from Clunes had her licence suspended, and will face court later this month.
