A man will face Toronto Local Court on Monday after a police pursuit in Lake Macquarie earlier this week.
Police say the pursuit was initiated just after midnight on Thursday, when a Ford Falcon sedan failed to stop as directed on Minmi Road at Edgeworth.
The pursuit continued through New Lambton Heights and Elermore Vale, before police called off the chase due to safety concerns.
The vehilce was later discovered near an industrial area at Tomago. A 27-year-old man was arrested nearby a short time later with the assistance of the dog unit.
He was charged with a range of offences, including driving dangerously, driving while disqualified, and driving an unregistered vehicle.
