Tamworth trainer Michelle Fleming has capped off a remarkable week, claiming Saturday’s $60,000 Highway Handicap at Rosehill Gardens.
Saddling-up The Lion in race four, the four-year-old gelding roared down the home straight in his first metropolitan start.
The Lion’s victory paid $26.00 and added to Fleming’s trio of wins at Tamworth last week.
