A contract has been awarded by the Australian Rail Track Corporation, to see design, engineering and environmental consultations progress for the Inland Rail.
Mott MacDonald and WSP Australia will take charge of the 188-kilometre Narrabri to North Star section, with activity along the stretch expected to increase over the next 12 months.
ARTC will be making contact with landowners to access properties adjacent to the rail line to allow for site investigations.
