Close to 3-thousand yellowtail kingfish…have been recovered after escaping from a Port Stephens fish farm last week.
All up around 20-thousand yellowtails escaped after one of the pens was damaged by rough seas.
An investigation is underway into the incident… with the findings and recommendation to be made public.
