28YO WOMAN CHARGED OVER ALLEGED STABBING IN NORTH TAMWORTH

A 28-year-old woman has been charged after an alleged stabbing on Brewery Lane in North Tamworth last week.

Police arrested Sharee Lorraine Turnbull in South Tamworth on Monday afternoon, while on parole for another offence.

It’s alleged Turnbull stabbed a 45-year-old woman multiple times at a home, after demanding the victim give up her mobile phone.

She was refused bail in Tamworth Local Court late yesterday.

She’s facing charges of malicious wounding and aggravated robbery with wounding.

Turnbull will front court again later this month.
