TWO TEENS ARRESTED AT TORONTO HOUSE PARTY
A police vehicle has been damaged and two teenagers arrested at a house party near Lake Macquarie overnight.
Following noise complaints, police attended the party on Day Street in Toronto at around 10pm, and allege there was a large group of intoxicated young people there when they arrived.
Police attempted to move-on the party-goers from the property and nearby Cary Street, but bottles were thrown at officers and a police vehicle was damaged.
No police were injured.
A 15-year-old girl was arrested and will be dealt with under the Youth Offenders Act.
A 17-year-old boy was arrested and charged with carrying a knife in a public place, assaulting police, and using offensive language.
He is due to face a children’s court at a later date.
A 19-year-old man was issued a noise abatement order.
