Residents and business owners on more than 700 Kootingal properties, will now be able to connect to the National Broadband Network.
It’s the latest suburb to go live, joining more than 12,000 sites across the Tamworth region.
More than 70 per cent of the New England electorate has now been connected, with Manilla, Uralla and Walcha next on the list.
Homes and businesses now have 18 months to make to switch.
