A number of Molotov cocktails have been thrown into a house in Newcastle yesterday.
Emergency services were alerted about 3am on Thursday, after the occupant of a home on Chin Chen Street in Islington was startled by an unknown noise and saw large flames outside the home.
Fire crews extinguished the blaze, and no one was injured.
Examinations revealed several Molotov cocktails started the fire.
