Two men are on the run following an armed robbery in Blacksmiths this morning.
Police say at around 6am, the pair entered a Turea Street grocery store armed with a screw driver and wooden stick, demanding money from the shop assistant.
The men fled in a silver car with a small amount of cash.
Police are asking anyone who may have seen a man in a orange jumper, grey pants, and a face covering, as well as a man wearing a yellow jumper, dark shorts and his face covered to contact Belmont Police or Crime Stoppers.
