Police have issued a fresh plea to the public, after another attempted abduction on the mid north coast.
A nine-year-old boy was approached while riding his skateboard to school at South West Rocks yesterday morning.
A man in a dark green van pulled up next to him near the Mitchell and Simpson Street intersection, offering him a lift.
The boy kept riding, but was followed for a short time, before the man drove off.
Police are looking for a Caucasian man in his late 50s with scruffy, grey hair, driving a green van without windows.
